National Nutrition Month

I can't believe we're already a week into March! March is very exciting because it's National Nutrition Month! This year's theme is Get Your Plate in Shape. Periodically throughout the month, I'll be blogging about nutrition topics that are important to me.

I don't have a lot to say right now, so I'll just show you what I've been eating over the past week...

1/2 C Kashi GoLean, 1/2 C Kashi Heart to Heart Warm Cinnamon, 1/2 C skim milk, sliced banana, strawberries, 1 T slivered almonds.

Strawberry Greek yogurt, 1/2 sliced banana, strawberries, grapes, 1/4 C Kashi GoLean, 1 T almond butter.

Scrambled eggs, 365 Sprouted Wheatberry Protein Bread with Crofter's Raspberry Spread, and Organic Girl Super Greens with bell pepper, carrots, and Zoe's Greek dressing.

Whole Foods Mahi Mahi burger served over a bed of romaine, carrots, and guacamole.
Dressing= 0% plain Greek yogurt + Dijon mustard

Carrot Cake Larabar. Loved this- seriously tasted like carrot cake!

Salmon burger with ketchup, sautéed kale, and corn.

Whole Foods Salad bar with tons of veggies.

Whole Foods Vegan Peanut Butter Cookie.

Greens, some kind of already made curry I bought from Organic Harvest, black beans, and raisins.

Romaine, carrots, bell pepper, sunflower seeds, tuna salad mixed with 0% plain Greek yogurt and Dijon Mustard, and guacamole on top.

Lunch from Golden Temple. I ordered the Golden Temple Sandwich- guacamole, mushrooms, tomatoes, and melted swiss on toasted wheat bread with organic blue corn chips on the side.

Veggie burger topped with swiss and served over roasted sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with Bone Suckin' BBQ sauce drizzled on top.

Cake batter and cookies and cream frozen yogurt with blueberries, blackberries, and oreos.

Have a great rest of the day!
